Stephen visited the Green Jade Vine in Croxteth Hall’s walled garden.
This rare plant had not flowered in Liverpool for 38 years, when it was held at the Harthill Greenhouses in Calderstones Park.
After his visit, Stephen said:
“It was a real pleasure to visit the Green Jade Vine at Croxteth Hall. The plant was beautiful and I encourage all families to visit the walled garden, as the photos really cannot do the flower justice.
“There are many other incredible plants to see. The walled garden is a real treat for all of us.”
