Liverpool West Derby
Liverpool West Derby covers six wards on the north east outskirts of Liverpool: the wards of Norris Green, Croxteth, West Derby, Yew Tree, Knotty Ash and Tuebrook. The village of West Derby is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The constituency stretches from the terraced streets by Newsham Park in Tuebrook in the west through a suburban belt in Knotty Ash and West Derby to Dovecot. To the north Croxteth Country Park is adjacent to Croxteth Park, one of the largest new private housing estates in the UK. Further west are the old Gillmoss estate and Norris Green.
